Book-The Garden of Last Days

Andre Dubus III follows up his #1 bestselling House of Sand and Fog with the The Garden of Last Days. It’s a riveting tale inspired by the rumors that the 9/11 hijackers visited a strip club before their attacks. Three extremely flawed, yet driven people cross paths at the strip club in Florida: April, a stripper, Bassam, a foriegn client, and AJ, who has been kicked out of the club and is angry, drunk and lonely. What follows is an explosive, relentless and suspenseful narrative that grabs you by the hair and won't let go.
CD Wilco (The Album)

Wilco's new album has sparked tons of discussion about the decision to self-title their newest release. The real discussion will soon be about the music put forth by the 15 year veterans of the indie-rock scene.(minus one album realeased by a major). Wilco (The Album) marks the first time frontman Jeff Tweedy will have the same line-up behind him and it shows in the cohesiveness of this album. Highlights include the opening song, "Wilco (The Song) that pays tribute to their fans and will surely be a staple at live shows well into the future. Other standouts include "Bull Black Nova" and the very intimate "You And I."

Dave Garwacke used to host live music shows in his basement in New Paltz, NY. When he moved to Brooklyn before the summer of 2006 he realized he had no way of proving that these great shows actually happened. He saved up some money and began documenting the extremely talented musicians around him and recorded over 50 shows that summer. In order to better control the sound and lighting he began The Pink Couch Sessions. He invited artists over to his apartment records them playing a one-of-a-kind accoustic song on his pink couch and posts the videos.
