Though simple, he accomplished all that needs to be done with his small menu (unless you know how to order with creativity). Everything is fresh, made by hand, and delicious. Don't be surprised when your burrito is the size of a newborn.   Sam and Tony’s 717-852-0059 243 West Market Street, York, PA 17401 Located right along the Codorus Creek, Sam and Tony's is the Gemini of York City. In the front entrance, you are greeted to sit and have a quiet meal with friends and family. Through a hallway on the backside of the restaurant, you can kick off your shoes on their deck and enjoy more of the nightlife. Both sides of the restaurant offer the same fare (if asked). After five they transform into a fine dining restaurant with outstanding entrees such as broiled crab cakes, beef marsala, tilapia, shrimp, & chicken to name a few.   Simply Soup 717-586-6433 Central Market (Corner of Beaver and Philadelphia Streets) Located within Central Market, Simply Soup will hit the spot anytime of year. Make sure to check the website before going to find out what each days specials are (because they are ever changing). Simply Soup would love for you make their soups at home selling jars of their personal soup mixes. Queen St. York, Pa 17402 Tapenade brings refined taste to Southern York. In Tollgate Village, you will dine in elegance but still feel casual. Located in a beautifully restored stone inn, the Accomac is the perfect choice for a special occasion. Somehow time stops down here as you relax and watch the river roll by. Some of the finest food you will ever eat. Memorable and worth the drive. If you don't come here at least once a year, you're really missing out. Once a season would be better.   Tokyo Diner 717-755-9638 2300 E. Market St. Tokyo Diner brings fun and flare to York with their hibachi tricks! Sit down at the grill and enjoy the show or take a side table to a nice evening of sushi and sake. From Pink and Orange Flamingo rolls to classics like the Spider, Tokyo does sushi and hibachi right. Don't forget to bring a bottle of wine with!   Victor’s 717-854-7958 554 S Ogontz St, York, PA 17403-5709 Once a church, Victor's renovated not only the building but also the idea of what perfected Italian plates could be. Their worked menu can't provide anything more than you could ask for showcasing dishes such as Shrimp Diablo or the Lobster Raviolis.
